Hi guys,

I've carried this case razor style folder for years now, and since I recently got interested in knives, I looked it up on eBay to see if I could find one.

Nope...

Notice the shield emblem on the scale. If I remember this was some sort of anniversary edition or something but I can't remember what.

So, do I have something interesting or is it more common than it would appear?

I haven't personally seen one like that but it's very interesting. That's all I got for you though which I know is absolutely no help at all but you've come to the right place there are a lot of people on here that are very knowledgeable about Case and I'm sure they will be a long to help you out. :)

It's hard to see the tang clearly. Does it match one of the following...?

No matter what, I'd say you have a fine knife that looks to be a good user. :)

Im not good at dating them but case has used that shield and fairly recently on their second cut antique bone series.

It's the 2007 stamp... Interesting... I knew someone would know what it was!

It definitely serves me well. I like the razor style for one handed opening, though I can't tell you how many people think I've snapped the tip off from abuse!

That’s what the blade style is for. The One Hand knife was developed after the American Civil War. There was a bumper crop of one handed veterans back then.

That's what I thought at first that it was abused till I took a closer look and saw it was for one hand opening. I only seen it on a few knives online so far so I am not used to seeing it so it took a second for me to recognize that blade style.
