I'm leaning towards "yes."

This is basically everything, with the exception of a Spyderco SpydieChef (on loan to a buddy), and about a dozen Victorinox Classic SDs scattered all over the house (along with a Jetsetter, which is a bladeless Classic SD).

I used to have way more fixed blades, but just don't get a chance to use them as much nowadays, so that part of my collection has shrunk.

As far as folders go, Spyderco has always been my favorite and probably always will be. (The first good knife I ever owned, pictured in the upper right quadrant of this photo, was a Spyderco Merlin, which I found abandoned on a beach when I was a kid.) I used to be more interested in "fancy" customs, but in the past few years my taste has shifted towards (1) hard-to-find long-out-of-production factory made knives, and (2) customs by lesser known (and/or deceased) makers that are not "makers du jour." An example of the former would be the Benchmade Boguszewski Spike (bottom middle of photo), and an example of the latter would be Gary Little (whose knife sits above the trio of Small Sebenzas on the left side of the photo).

P.S. there was an empty space (proof positive that I don't have enough knives!) so I threw a Smith & Wesson 686+ in there to round things out.

Custom makers featured: Mel Pardue, W.C. Davis, Les George, Walter Wells, Trevor Burger, Gary Little, Ray Laconico, Bob Dozier, Chuck Gedraitis, Cox Workshop, Billy Mace Imel, Steve Hostetler, Chris Crawford, Barry Gallagher, TC Knives, Frank Centofante, Steve Huey, Leon Thompson, Herb the Blacksmith, Jesse Jarosz, Austin Goldman, Jerid Johnson, Adam Reese, Erik Loreno, J.D. Clay, Chuck Stapel, and Nikola Kovachev.

Companies featured: Hubertus, A.G. Russell, Lone Wolf, William Henry, Moki, Gerber, Chris Reeve Knives, Rockstead, Al Mar, Canal Street Cutlery, Parker Cutlery, GEC, Boye Knives, Fantoni, Klotzli, Zero Tolerance, Tactile Knife Co., Victorinox, Opinel, Kershaw, Boker, American Bladeworks (one guy, I know, but I don't think he calls his knives custom), Benchmade, Seki Cut, REKAT Knives, Cold Steel, Spyderco, Ka-Bar,Yahiko, Fujitake, and Tojiro.

You need a Cheburkov, a Biryukov, and possibly a Shirogorov.

I have like 20 folders and 2 fixed blades, but I am happy with that.

Actually, in my humble opinion, I think you have 2 too many knives. Those two would be the really old short Kershaw folder with the bone scale and brass bolster, and the old Al Mar folder with the green linen micarta (I think it's called the Eagle or the Ultralight). I'd be happy to adopt those two for you so that your collection can become a little more perfect for ya. 😜

IDK...but a few more guns would balance things out !

That's a pretty solid collection; especially on the Spyderco side of things. I'm surprised that you don't have a Benchmade Griptilian, which is basically an honorary Spyderco knife (I might have missed it, There's a lot of knives there). You definitely need more fixed blades, even if it's just a few Morakniv yard beaters or focusing more on the aesthetics.

That’s a serious lack of fixed blades. You need at least 35 fixed blades, maybe 70 actually. I don’t make the rules.
Agreed.

You’ve got plenty of small fixed, but you could do with a light chopper/field knife or two (a bit bigger than your Kephart).

These are the types of blades I most enjoy taking out for a hike and maybe having them will encourage you to get out more to use them. :)
