Actually I'm 90% convinced but I'm looking for a comparison pic next to a Eureka Jack.

Can anyone help?

You don't need no stink'n pictures......of course you need a White Owl. I do have both, love them both, but since Flickr changed, I have not figured out how to post pics. The white owl is a great knife....single spring.....effective....and, mine in ebony is pretty stunning. My Eureka Jack is a great knife....double spring.....effective....and, mine in ebony is pretty stunning. OH! I kind of repeated myself.................................... get 'em both!

I've been thinking the same thing! All the stag covered ones being posted by andi, Woodrow and others have me thinking that I do...

Of course you need one!!

No comparison pic sorry, but I've been eyeing the White Owl for some time myself. I do have a 92 and it's one of my favorites.

It's Black & White. Sorry about the pic, rushing out to work..you heard about snooze&lose???

Of course you need a white owl... if for no other reason than to show the world that you are a man of impeccable style and sophistication. :)

I'm a proud member of the Order of the Owl and consider the knife to be about perfect.

I have a white owl. Everyone needs one. :D

Although now, due to Willgoy's picture, I need a Eureka jack, too...

If you don't have a single spring knife in this size then I'd say that you do indeed need a White Owl. I took 2 group shots with the #68 and a few other knives to help put things in perspective. I'm not sure if you'll find a #68 now but I do believe a #66 Pen Knife is in the works so I included my jack. I also seem to remember someone asking about a #12 Toothpick but I forgot who. I don't have the #12J anymore but only the blade profiles are different between the 2.

Come on...everybody knows that "need" is the last word we should use..."like" sounds more appropriate, although the right word for you is "want". :D
So, I seriously doubt that you (or anyone else here) "need" a white owl...but it's a very nice knife.
So if you want it, freeze your conscience in a bucket of ice, and get one :p
Sidenote: the 1/8" of length difference (compared to the #92) is much more evident than I thought.

oooh i like that! Bet Sarah gonna be all over this group ;)

Yeah, she has been on the owl wagon as early as anyone. And we've been picking up members in a slow but steady way since its introduction. Don't know that we'll ever rival the Peanut Cult for shear numbers though. We'll have to rely on our good looks and charm to expand the ranks. :)

I've always been fascinated by the Case 55 frame which this one resembles. But I love single spring knives. GEC got this little gem just about perfect for my tastes. I've carried an ebony one 90% of the time for over 2 years now. Have another absolute beauty in Mexican Bocote unsharpened as a backup, and another in red bone which was my first choice but was accidentally shipped in spear instead of clip so it sits unused.

oh man, a spear tipped white owl! if i had funds i would make you an offer. Alas, life is not cooperating right now!

Rsmith_77, you have an active email address you wouldn't mind sharing? Post it if you do and I'll shoot you an email. I'm sure this little owl would love a good home and I would love to see it go to one. It's been sharpened and it's ready for to go.

You sound like a fan of the owl and I'll send it along free of charge.

Wow, just wow

I am officially here to tell those of you who dont know, that Will aka DrPenguin is one of the good ones.
As stated above i expressed interest in the white owl and he offered to send me one that didnt do it for him.

So he mailed it out saturday and here it is Monday, and it was waiting for me. Its a beautiful example, absolutely no blade wobble in any direction, no gaps that i can see anywhere. Its got relatively soft springs (a GOOD thing in my opinion) i would rate the main blade as a 4 and the pen as a 6, just about perfect (for ME) and it came SHARP! I am very impressed and very thankful....

Man i think this spear blade is just beautiful in shape and the swedge is cool!

anyways, some pics i took right quick
