Well, in a place like this it's hard to say most of us ever "need" another knife, but I obviously know what you mean. It's a cool knife. I love the more straight handled Emersons. And for a vaguely trailing point blade, I can still deal with it (the Persian was too much for me and the Hattin I just didn't care for.) So for me, it was an obvious add to the collection.
