No...but when I saw this one begging for a new home...well...I caved. Actually this was another trade at the pawnshop...I dumped some true junk (can we say QVC Frost...a lot of it...lol) and ended up with this and also with the Robert Klass Kissing Crane below it. Btw...the pics are my Dad's, he not only took these but he was a crew member on the B29 called "Haulin Ass".

Well I started this thread before I headed over to Dad's with dinner and lo and behold...he had found a Congress to give me so today I end up with three knives to the good with this Owlhead congress. Life is good!

He's here on the forums as GLV, I am sure he saw this. He's the reason I served as well...he did his service for his family...to help insure their freedoms would endure, I did it for mine.

The stag on that Kissing Cranes is nice and chubby, I suppose this would be a copperhead pattern, first one I have owned. The chubby (I hesitate to call it fat...not quite there) scale fit nicely in the hand.

:Dave, thanks.

As my son Absintheur, and I were having dinner tonight, I told him that even tho our crew was formed 58 years ago and was only together for 13 months, I could still name all of the guys.:)

I retired from the USAF in 1970, had two business careers, and for the last ten years have worked part time for oldest son.
