Everyone did a GREAT job of convincing me to buy a digicamo/satin PM2 recently! Can you do it for an all black Manix 2? Let's hear some praise! Some enabling! Some gentle pushing!

Much appreciated [emoji106]🏽

I carry a LW Manix 2 pretty much every day. Get one, you won't be disappointed (in ANY color configuration - I like the satin blade):

The Manix 110V LW is, in my opinion, the finest cutting tool offering ever produced by any company. The weight, materials, price, and design are incredible.

The ergonomics of the Manix line is beyond comparison. The shape of the blade is perfect for almost any task. The lock is incredibly strong, wears well, and is easy to manipulate.

On top of all of that, it is very non-threatening for a knife of its size.

If you want a cutting tool, you want a manix.

The Manix 2 is my favorite Spyderco model...period! I own a regular S30V FFG and Cruwear versions, and absolutely love them both. Wonderful slicers, superb ergonomics, and tough as nails. Once they break in, they are among the smoothest knives I've had. No experience with any of the LW versions, but I'm sure they're awesome as well.

iv got a manix 2, black g10 scales, with the S30V hollow grind blade...its a really nice knife.
The ball bearing lock is very nice..very smooth. Zero blade movement in any direction.

Nice when you pimp 'em too.

IMO the Manix 2 is one of the best all around sub $100 folders you can buy. I've owned a few over the years and my favorite is this one

If you need someone to tell you to buy it, then you shouldn't buy it. If your want/need outweighs your caution, get it. Relying on others will end with you buying knives out of your means based on the amounts of praise they receive.

The Manix is a really nice knife. The ball lock is too stiff IMO compared to a Benchmade. I bought one, an XL, and then sold it on here. Perfectly safe to resell if you can't return it. Good luck.

My Foliage Green CTS-XHP Sprint:

Can't say enough good things about this knife. I far prefer it to my PM2. It fits my hand perfectly.

I've had mine for about a year now. Love it. Black on black G10, s30v . If you find that the ball bearing spring is too stiff you can shorten the spring by one or two coils. I don't feel that this alteration changes the lock integrity. I does void your warranty with Spyderco.

I love the Manix 2 lock system. When you open it, it clicks into position with the smoothest most satisfying click. Deploying the blade is lightning fast, you pinch both sides of the lock with your thumb and forefinger and hold it back and then give the knife a little flip and it flies out with almost no resistance. Works when you close it too, the knife will swing all the way closed just with gravity. I have the earlier model with the non-skeletonized liners and it feels solid and pleasingly heavy. If they'd make a Para-2 with the ball bearing lock I think that would be my favorite knife of all time.

You only need 3 Knives ( Manix 2 ~ PM 2 ~ and a Delica and you are all set.**
You can try out a few other Spydies though as they are very addictive.!^^

I agree. My S30v G10 Manix 2 is sitting in my knife box. It never gets carried. Fits great in hand, good build quality, great materials. I just do not like the BBL.

I've already advised you (in the other thread) to get a Manix 2.
DON'T MAKE ME TELL YOU AGAIN, YOUNG MAN

How'd I do?

My old coworker has a manic 2xl.
I'd say it's a very durable knife. He's constantly throwing it at things, like trees, boxes, random wood boards. He misses a lot too, resulting in concrete kisses. Still holding up well, though some blade play developed.

HA! I also told ya to get a Manix2 instead of the PM2 but did you listen to us?! NnnnnooooOOOooooo!

Well ... now you can't have one! Especially not the Manix2 LW S110V, with that super steel, great lock, great ergos.

No Sou ...er ... Manix2 for you!
