The stunt seems to be a setup - like a magic trick. The blade is only sharpened for the 4-5” from the handle. The rest is completely dull. I can’t say I have tried to process potato’s with a machete, but based on the smears left on the blade and the velocity of the strike, they are likely baked. To sell this you need an assistant who is not going to cry out when she gets hit. There may be a few welts and bruises but we don’t get to see them; she never shows her hand, neck or throat after the impact.
