I don't see a ton of talk here in the traditional forum about Swiss Army Knives, so I was wondering if most people consider them to be a true "traditional" folder?
I bought my first SAK recently...a Victorinox Super Tinker. That led to a Pioneer with Alox handles as well as a Classic SD in Alox(popped it on my keychain).
For as much as I love my GEC's and some of my older Case knives, I gotta say for the money I'm rather impressed with the Victorinox SAK's. They're well put together and not horribly expensive at all.
The Super Tinker went in my gear bag, and the Pioneer went in the front pocket and honestly I don't see myself going back to just a plain jane folding knife. Am I crazy? I feel like I'm abandoning some old friends, but I just really like the Pioneer a lot, I'm a fan of things that can multi-task and the Pioneer does that for sure. The feel, the size, the abilities...for me...it's perfection.
What's everyones take on SAK's?
