Do the CRK Sebenza 21 have different Grey tones?

I was wondering if there is a reason why I see different colorations of the Grey color on the handles on the Sebenza? Some seem darker and some are lighter. I personally like the darker tones. Lastly if mine comes in on the lighter tone, can I darken it up?
 
Blast media does wear out over time depending on how many times it is reused. The first knife blasted will be rougher & darker than the 50th knife. I don't know how many knives get done before CRK changes out their media. Good question to ask.

Of course there are other factors, like is it just photos you're looking at or Sebbies in hand? Also after handling my Inkosi, my natural oils have darkened the titanium a bit.
 
I watched that shop tour video of CRK and I believe at some point Chris Reeve said they like to rub a light coat of WD-40 on the scales because it gives them a nice dark tone.
