Do the Micarta handles change the balance?

Compared to my old Camillus Beckers, I find the new grips markedly slimmer and I'm probably in the minority in preferring the old "chunky" grips.

I'm assuming the micarta grips available are a match for the new profile, but was wondering if they actually change the balance point ... as in are they noticeably heavier?

Do you guys like micarta handles? My old becker grips got the bead blast treatment which I love.

The BK2 is still very blade heavy, just the way I like it!

I like the micarta grips on my bk7 but the bead blasting idea sounds good to me plus you have 40 bucks left for more beer

I dig micarta. I dont feel any difference in the handle except for texture.

I like the additional weight of the micarta

The looks, feel and extra weight of the micarta are worth it, they really make the blade alot better IMO, all becker blades deserve Micarta....

Hmm...sounds like I'll have to pick up a set or two.... will adorn my new Machax when they make it!!
