....put less pressure on the lockbar? Stock clips clearly exert downward pressure on the lockbar. Why CRK has not canted the clip like the other knives is beyond me. Anyone with experience with milled clips like the Millit, do they reduce lock bar pressure?

I strongly prefer the straight style of the Zaan/21 clip orientation. I find the canted clip on my Large Inkosi to create a hot spot if I grip it the way I would prefer (so I don't). But to answer your question, yes, a Millet clip doesn't "follow" the lock bar in the way a spring clip does.

Follow the lockbar, that's a good way to put it thank you! I wonder if the Lynch machined flat clips also wouldn't put pressure on it.

I’d assume that since the milled out portion for the clip is in line with the lock bar no matter what clip you put on it, it’s going to ride the lock bar. Have you tried taking the stock clip off and bending it out slightly? They bend fairly easy in my experience.

Are you having trouble unlocking the knife? I haven't found the CRK clips to do much by way of resistance, but the Zaan does take a little getting used to - in fact there is a thread in this forum about it.

Thanks all! Yes, the lock bar is much easier to push out without the stock clip. I disassembled, cleaned, polished the washers, and lubed, and it is much better. I also fine tuned the pivot screw from both sides, got it centered, and loosened it just beyond eliminating any blade play. It is much smoother.
