I have been thinking of getting a sheath but have the fear of the knife falling out. Does anyone carry their Sebenza in a sheath and how has that worked for you. Thanks in advance for you help.

Bill

Yup, and I love it. Obviously my Sweatpants do not have belt loops, neither do my jogging shorts. Otherwise it is in the sheath
I carry it in this design Marek worked out for my style of carry.

No sheath for me. Mine isn't a fancy one, though. Just a small plain Sebbie. I like how the Ti wears.

I carry my Small CF Sebenza in the coin compartment of my wallet. Does that count as a sheath?

I carry mine clipped to my shorts or pants. I have never used a sheath.

Ive considered getting a horizontal Kydex sheath. Anyone use kydex sheath with their Sebenzas?

I got a small unique about 2 weeks here on BF. The first owner carried in a pouch with the lanyard. I tried carrying it that way, but like it clipped in my rf pocket much better.

Hey Bird. He is available on the first link I posted on the second page. Marek is his name.
Or do a search on the Bay, and search sebenza 21 sheath. One listing will say From Poland.
That is him. Just order one. And then he will contact you and make any style you want, any color leather and any color stitching.
I will send a link if I have time.
Matt

Thanks Bellablades it does look nice. How do I contact him if I decide to go that direction?

I carry mine in a sheath at times with no worry about it falling out. Great fit. This is one that Gary Graley did for me. When working in the yard or other tasks, I usually just clip it to my back pocket.

I never have, or will, and always use the clip.
Thats the main reason I carry a modern knife along with a traditional.

Ken, I hear ya and I agree somewhat. I would say the main reason I really like the "Fitted" sheath is that I am an active guy.
While the clip is great and I do use it often. I like the sheath for protection and a super tight hold. No way is it coming off of my person unless I pull it out. Not referring to snap sheaths, just these tight form fitted sheaths. The knife CAN NOT come out unless you want it to.
-While hiking
-Working on a construction site
-Mechanical work around vehicles
-Or even shopping with all of the crazy sheeple ( no I am not paranoid )

I could go on and on. When you are active and there is a chance the knife can come loose or snag on something. A sheath like mine will give you a true sense of security, save you 400$ and looks sweet as well.

No. I don't like stuff on my belt. Tried doing the pocket sheath thing with my small, but I think it has a better chance falling out of my pocket than if it's clipped plus it's a pain to get out when I need it. I go clipped for my small and large.

Clip on the pocket for me,,, feels really secure , can pull it out easily with the lanyard….. I do have a sheath like the belt one for my Wilson CQB…45 right side, CRK left front….

Cordura sheath black. Very comfortable and secure way to carry it.
I remove the clip.

CRKs pocket clip is one of best, if not the best in the business for functionality and fit in hand. From time to time, especially when not wearing a belt, the pocket clip is a great option and functions perfectly. Have carried with both the clip and a sheath in the past. Really like using a sheath actually just because it frees up a pocket for certain things that I'd rather not have in there with a folder (keys, change, etc...). All my Seb sheaths are made to fit the Seb without a pocket clip attached. Can't go wrong either way, but for me its nice to have an extra pocket to put anything in and the slightly slimmer profile without the clip provides a different feel to the knife that I've really come to appreciate as well. If you go the sheath route, I have to recommend Vess Leatherworks. Absolutely top notch in every regard. The sheaths are made exactly to your specs, plenty of options, great service, outstanding workmanship and excellent communication. Could not be more pleased with every transaction I have had with Vess Leatherworks. Never have had to worry about retention with these either, I carried a full horizontal sheath for a while with my small Seb and never had any fear of it falling out, just can't say enough good things about Vess sheaths. Hope this helps some and good luck with your decision!
