Do you check your knives for bend/curve?

So the other day I was looking down one of my custom warnies, and I noticed a very very slight bend towards the middle of the blade. I believe this is due to me getting pinched inbetween a wood burning stove with the knife sheathed on my side where I was pinched. It is very slight and still sharpens up as far as I can tell. Today at work I checked it on a granite slab that a guy has at my work. It is accurate up to 1/1000 of an inch whether or not something is flat. I checked a few knives. The Warnie did indeed have a slight bend near the tip. Checked my other custom and it was fine as far as I could tell. Checked a Kershaw Leek, the tip was also slightly bent ( very thin tip and the knife was a friends also was a kershaw blem and you can see the grind is off ). So is it possible for a blade to be perfectly true? Maybe I have some OCD in the matter.

I notice it, but do not worry if the bend is minor. If it does not affect the function, then OCD is the call here.

Kinda what I figured. If I cant tell with my naked eye I figure it doens't make a ton of difference anyway. And a hand ground blade is probably not going to be perfect on some level of observation, nor a machined one.
