Do you ever find yourself....

....carrying a larger folder/fixed blade(4"+) for any situation that may arise? (i.e.- unexpected survival situations, possible terrorist attacks, self-defense, etc..)

Of course, many of you KnifeKnuts carry more than one blade on a daily basis, but do you always plan on having at least one tactical knife on you at all times?

For me, it is my Spyderco Military CE. Along with this Spydie, I carry a Leatherman ST200, Micra, Cricket SE, and occasionally an Emerson LaGriffe. In today's world, IMHO, you can never have enough blades on you and it's best to be prepared.

I carry a larger blade for a lot of reasons, including general utility, but I do carry one. I always keep my Darrel Ralph Mini-Maxx (4" blade) clipped to my pocket. Whenever I'm not at work, where there's a 4" limit, I have a Camillus CUDA Maxx Bowie (5-1/2" blade) with me as well.

There are just a lot of tasks that are easier with a large blade. Cutting bagels, for instance.

I always carry either a SS police SE or a SOG X-ray vision. In my wallet I have a Spydercard CE and usually a Aluminum handled navigator clipped to my shirt pocket.
