Do you ever USE your Custom Shop blades???

Just picked me up a sweet snakeskin GW Custom Shop blade with snakeskin sheath. It's great looking and the blade shape is soooo sweeeett!

I think I could bring myself to making it an EDC, but I don't know if I could ever bring myself to use it.

Just wondering if you guys ever really use any of the Custom Shop blades?

Custom Shop AD (original old school w/snake) - YES

Otherwise, not yet. I've got a CS ASH1 that has a finer handle than I've seen in any other ASH, Fusion, SF or any other Busse blade. Smooth G-rex with black G10 and red giraffe bone. Amazingly comfortable. I'd love to use it, but don't. d'OH!

Most of my current CS models are GW's. . . and sit in a case on the wall.
 
Yup,

5 blades in my EDC rotation have Custom Shop logo's, although, only one is a one-off.

I have a Nuclear Badger Attack and a Shiva Rex and I must confess I have not used either one of them. I would use the Shiva Rex before the Badger though.
 
Like I told ya.....you never really fully appreciate em til ya use em:)
 
Ok, tomorrow I'll take my nice new custom shop blade and smash it into a big ole hard rock just for fun....

Ok, maybe not. I'll stab a marshmellow with it.

Right now it's rum and coke time....
 
I would say use it unless you are a hard-core collector/wheeler dealer. It's hard at first, but you can do it.
 
Use it if your even thinking about it.

Busse's that go up the most in value are usually not the CS's. Esp the GW's.
I would also rather have my EDC have the CS logo(or sterile) instead of the word Combat on it.
 
Thanks for all the great peer preassure! I guess I'll have to go find something to cut!!! Ken44, that's a great point you make about any EDC!
