they get a supply of camel or giraffe bone? I just ordered a couple of the camel bone Duke 500's from the web specials page along with a couple of the cow bone 110's and others.

I can easily figure out where the cow bone comes from, but camel and giraffe bone??

Good question.

In this neck of the woods animal control goes after oryx, ostrich, llama and other exotic pets/stock. There are buffalo up the way. Haven't seen any camel here-a-bouts but I bet that there are some. However, I don't know what happens to their shin bones when they stop getting older... Perhaps they are in your pocket or hanging off your belt in a leather sheath. Recycling, my wife would approve.

One of my best friends since college is married to Charles May's sister. Charlie says a lot of the camel bone is coming out of Egypt. Seems they have plenty and are happy to sell it into the knife supply pipeline.
