Do you find yourself selling off or considering selling off your knives to buy more Hinderers? I just received my first and second Hinderer with in a week and I don't even care about the rest of my Spyderco, Benchmade and Microtech collection! I waited a long time before being able to get my hands on a XM-18 and with in days another great opportunity came up on a XM-24 that I couldn't pass on. These knives are fantastic!!! Is it me or is this a common phenomenon??? :confused:
 
Many Knife Lovers, who actually carry their knives - find themselves saying, " Hmmmm.... It's obvious I have found my lifelong EDC companion, why not get rid of what will now lay dormant - a buy more of what I will actually enjoy" So....... Yes, what you are experiencing is "normal" - Here. :)

RubiconSS I'm with you! Now if I could just find a XM-18 with a 3 inch flipper I will have a Hinderer for all occasions;)!!!

Well, a Good Hobby is a life long endeavor so...... you are off to a great start. The 3" ers are out there and it is a great size.
ALL three (3) sizes comprise a collection and IMO not one is a third place finish - They are ALL 1st place (three way tie) :)
Then...... you get into your flippers, non-flippers and spantos, slicers..... and Customs :eek:

Did I mention..... Life Long Endeavor? ;)

As of right now, I have only thought about selling off items to fund more XMs. But I completely understand and have considered it.

Make me an offer(s)...:D

Knives by the three brands you mentioned (and several others) are in my "collection" but see little-to-no use (by comparison) since my XMs do so well at what I need/want. But my requirements/likes are not everyone's. I want a tool that will not fail when I need it most, the XM gives me that in a folding knife.
 
I understand what your going through, though I enjoy adding 1 of the 3 brands you mentioned to another pocket next to the XM.

As I aquire more Hinderers, the other knives on my person are replaced by them...this will continue until my "pockets" are full of Hinderers.:cool:
