Do you guys give CS knives as gifts?

Got my old man a Shanghai Shadow just for giggles. He’s more of a Spyderco dude, but is also occasionally amused by the over-the-topness of some CS knives.

Have you folks given any crazy CS knives as gifts?
 
I gifted a few this Christmas. A Kobun and a Recon 1 to my son, and an SRK Compact to my girlfriend. Nothing too out of the ordinary though.

They both loved the gifts.
 
I like the design of the SRK Compact, but unfortunately my seller only has the 6” version. Definitely on my radar though.

I just ordered another one from Blade HQ. They came back in stock within the last few days. I'm really impressed with that little knife.
 
Yes. I have given and received CS products as gifts. They are always appreciated. Now that CS is changing hands, I feel they may even go up in value. Who knows?
 
I gave an engraved pair of Finn Wolves away as wedding gifts to a couple who were planning to go camping for their honeymoon. I was able to find one in orange and one in blue so each one was different.

They had so much trouble with unfriendly Triad Locks they ended up not able to close them after opening. I don't think I'll ever gift a Triad lock to a non-knife person.
