do you guys know any nice karambits with a wave-like feature on the blade

My experience with finding a decent Karambit has taught me that your not going to find anything worth having for less than a wave modded 5.11 or a FOX ($100 and $120 respectively). Every cheaper version I've held or owned has been a major disappointment.

I'm sure this isn't the answer your looking for, but I wish I had known this before I wasted money on multiple lower quality items trying to find something I considered usable. Best of luck

+1 on the Fox Knives Karambit folders with the Emerson Wave feature and 3.1" blade of N690Co. Model 479 has G10 handles and Model 478 has aluminum handles. They cost a lot less than Emerson's Karambit but not in the price range you want.

I looked into the Fox karambits, they seem loaded with problems, between poor lockup (weak, wont pass a spinewhack test), poor design (the one with the longer blade has way too big of a handle and you can't hold it with the ring and be close to the edge), and the half decently good one that's properly sized is only sold by one retailer online it seems who have a horrible reputation for not sending shit people order. After reading all of that I decided to avoid them. The new Spyderco karambit looks like a functional piece, but it's butt ugly to be honest.

Preferrable around 20-30$ thanks

You won't find a good folding karambit, with OR without a wave, for anywhere near that price range. The cheapest folding karambit I've found that isn't junky Tac-Force stuff is the 5.11 C.U.B. Master, and that runs around $90-100 and has no wave.

Really the nest choice is one of these...

If you're on a really tight budget and need/want a kerambit, get a fixed blade one. In a self defense tool like a kerambit, I'd rather not risk a poorly made folding one. A cheap fixed blade kerambit, if it's a solid slab of steel, can't really fail. The sheath might not be good, and steel quality won't be the best, but it will get the job done.

With that being said, if you want a good quality folding kerambit, you'll need to save up since there aren't many options and they are all pricey. Emerson, Spyderco, Fox, 5.11 (if you wave mod it).

A third alternative is to move away from the kerambit design but still get something similar, like one of the Spyderco Byrd folders with hawkbill blades. You loose the ring, but the blade shape is similar (you can still apply the same techniques), quality is OK and you can easily Wave them. A mate of mine has a G-10 Crossbill (3 1/2" hawkbill blade) and it's rather nice.
