I have a handfull of favorite custom knifemakers, like R.J. Martin, Shane Sibert, Ken Onion, Walter Brend, etc.; oh, and Bob Terzuola. They are all as good as it gets in my book, but when I thought about what really makes the top of my list, I decided that it was Bob T. Something about the ATCF and the Eagle Rock Folders and the Battleguard and Battlemate fixed blades just checks all the boxes for me. And, when I combine the Terzuola fixed blade knives with leather sheaths from my favorite leather sheath maker , Vince Peloza, well they are just over the top.

I don't have many of Bob Terzuolas knives but I really like the ones I have. I hope to own some more of his work, especially another folder but they really carry a premium, making it difficult to afford and they are also pretty hard to find at any price. Anyway here are the ones I have at this time. Along with them are some by Production companies but designed by Bob Terzuola.

I'm a big fan of Terzuola's earlier stuff, always wanted to own one of his handmade knives but have made do with some production ones
nice collection there

I see you are an old school guy.....like myself

Some of my favorite makers are Kit Carson (R.I.P), RJ Martin, Walter Brend, and John W Smith.
For traditionals I have not found a finer maker than Eugene Shadley.

I don't know most of the newer makers....gotta get to a show now that the COVID restrictions have loosened

Of the knives I can afford - David Boye, Michael Zieba and Mike Franklin. Of knives I cannot afford - Tony Bose, Eugene Shadley and Scot Sawby.

I like Alan Davis, Vincenzo Balistreri, and Joel Chamblin for modern traditional slip joints. I own one of each. I'll insert a photo of them (Davis is on the left, Chamblin on the right, and Vincenzo Balistreri below. For moderns, I like Michael Raymond and Scott Cook, both of whom make integrals. I owned a Raymond once and hope to score another one.

every time I see the title of this post, I think of a different knife maker. Too many favourites!

For folders, Nathawut is very good at executing the ideas that I have.

No love for George Stone, original founding member of knife makers guild?
Hunting and game knives, straight up functionality and durability.
