Do you have a few knives that you bought but ended up in the junk drawer?

Maybe it was a knife or two that you never latched onto and decided to use it as knife you needed for dirty jobs?

I have a few that I guess you could say are in the "junk drawer," in that I never carry them or show them off. Some cheap chinese Scarab knockoffs I got to try out OTFs, and a Ganzo Benchmade Bedlam knockoff to see how useful the persian blade shape is. I tried them out, was unimpressed, and they've been sitting in the back of the collection ever since. I don't forsee myself ever using them (even for dirty jobs) when I have a stable of great knives both cheap and expensive. I can't even give them away as gifts since they're more likely to hurt someone than actually be useful.

Lol when I started out collecting knives I bought a few, how do you say...junk ones lol which I have about 10 in a junk drawer, no name Chinese knockoffs haha but you gotta start somewhere right :)

Well how about something a little more expensive than a chinese knockoff?

Lol ok, a few buck knives I bought for about 40 each, never used em once I picked up my Beckers. My cold steel khukuri which got surpassed by my ka bar khukuri, which got surpassed by my Himalayan Imports Khukuri, which can't be surpassed. A few Ontario machetes I don't use anymore due to not having a lot of jungle clearing. I have various throwing knives I've bought, made and found which sit in another drawer. And let's not talk about axes and tomahawks....

That more detailed for you buddy :)

Rather than leave them in a junk drawer, I give them away.
So far, I've given my brothers a Kershaw Clash & Ontario Utilitac.
My co workers have gotten a Kershaw Cryo II and a CQC-7 and my friend has a Spyderco Tenacious (I also got him a Pacific Salt cuz he lives on the coast)
Don't just let them collect dust man, force them onto your friends, family and coworkers :p

My CRKT Igniter isn't really part of my knife collection. It sort of sits in a junk drawer, as does a neck knife I bought from Myerco.

My collection is currently around 80+ knives, yet I only rotate between my favorite dozen or so. So yeah, I have a LOT of knives that just sit in a drawer. Most are budget Spydies, SAKs, and such that I bought when I was just starting out and didn't have a good feel for what I liked.

I wouldn't call it a junk drawer, more like a drawer for seldom carried knives.
Kershaw Needs Work
Kershaw Speed Bump
Gerber Bear Giles knife
Remington A/O
Smith/Wesson
A couple of trappers
Buck Paradigm Pro and a few others

I also have a handful of knives in a drawer that aren't worth putting in my Pelican case with the collection. I have a Kershaw Cryo and Cryo II reserved for dirty jobs or lending out, some specialty knives like a couple Petzl Spathas or Trango Barracudas, some small multi-tool/swiss army knives, and a couple knives I've had since I was a kid.

I've been trying to unload a lot of these knives. I used to have a bunch of $30 range Gerbers that I've recently gotten rid of. I also recently sold a lot of about 20 random knockoffs and no-names that I sitting in the drawer for many years.
