Do you have a flipper but don't use the flipper to deploy?

Take for instance my Buck Vantage. I have the flipper and the hole but I never use the flipper to deploy. I just don't care for the flipper.
Anyone else?

Takes a while to get used to the flipper for me. One big problem is most of my folders are thumb hole openers so I always fumble for the thumb hole before realizing it's not there.

My main knife with a flipper is a ZT 0561. The flipper is the only way I can open it with one hand. I'm not a weakling but I cannot open the knife with the thumbstud alone, I have to use the flipper.

The only knives on which I routinely use the flipper are the ones that don't have thumbstuds...I think I have two; and one doesn't feel right in my hand so it doesn't get carried.

The Domino, even though it has a flipper, I prefer the Spyder hole for opening better than the flipper. It's that smooth.
My Hinderers are also poor flippers, use the thumb studs only.

I couldn't get my buck vantage to flip worth a darn so I always used the slot before I gave it to my uncle.

The only knife that I have that's a flipper with studs now is my 0560cbcf and I use both methods depending on my mood. If I draw it to use it? Probably the flipper. If I'm just messing around with it, I use the studs.

The Buck Vantage flipper is small but I don't use it anyway because I hate flippers. I use the hole with slow controlled deployment, and for $30 it's a great knife.

I don't use the flipper for my Buck Vantage as it is such a pleasure to just push lightly on the hole to open it. It is very smooth opening knife!
