I thought it might be fun to post pictures you have of your favorite or otherwise impressive temper lines. Seems many of the hot new makers are utilizing them in their hunters/fighters, and of course, they've been used for a loooooong time on Japanese knives and swords.

So, you got a temper? :)

Here is a really distinct line on my Hayes Tsunami short sword.

(It's not that easy to get a temper line to show up well in a picture, but last night I took pictures until I finally got a few decent shots, i saved 3 of about 40 pictures... :) )

I think this is a temper line on this Fisk Sendero.

Thanks a lot Joss, after seeing the temper line on that yakuza, I think I need to sell my Hayes and several others... :)

So, anyway, I'll take that Yakuza off your hands, I'm sure it's just cluttering up your house, completely throwing off your Feng Shui... :)
 
And with the posting of that Yakuza bowie we now have TWO of my all time favorite knives in one thread. Don't mind me, I'll just sit here quietly and drool...

I'm pretty partial to this one that Danbo picked up at the recent St. Louis show. Stag spearpoint bowie by Don Hanson III (Yep. Hanson. Who knew?).
