Do you have select favorites you prefer?

I'm finding a gravitate towards a few models, the PM2, millie, domino, manix 2 lw. Does anyone here primarily own and or carry variations of a few models or do you mostly carry and collect a large variation?
 
Definitely have my favorites, namely the Kiwi, Stretch, and Jester. Between production versions, and those customized by Santa Fe Stoneworks, David Yellowhorse, Brian Yellowhorse, and fellow Spyderco nut "tonydahose", I own about 80 different Kiwis and, while I carry some more than others, I carry almost every one of them at least occasionally. Been carrying a Stretch almost every day since they first came out, own at least one of every production version, plus a couple I had customized, and one very special one which, sadly, never made it to production. The Jester is more of a constant. The same burgundy Micarta one has been on my key ring for almost 12 years.
 
I just find both the PM2 and full size millie to be very ergonomic, fun to play with, the thin edge means you don't end up with ugly grind lines and the tip is very useful. The domino is very fun also. A lot of other knives a like the g10 manix 2, native 5 etc are great knives, I have no PROBLEM with them, but I just don't like them as much and I find myself wanting to buy a duplicate of my cts 204p domino or another pm2 more than I want to buy say a sprint manix 2.
 
During the week, it's a Delica or Caly with a SAK or Traditional as a backup. (I work in an office)
But on the weekends, my PM2s or Southards become my primary, again with a Traditional or SAK backing them up.
 
Anytime I have casual clothes on its the Delica, if the work pants are on its the Endura.

I have lots of other options but the Delica and Endura get 95% or more of the pocket time these days.
 
Dress pants = Sage 1 or Dragonfly G10.
Jeans = Para 2 black/camo, Manix 2 black, Salt 1 SE, Delica4 green.
Robe= Endura 4 SE.

i sold off all others to simplify my collection and work on more variations of my preferred models.

I'm thinking of selling my manix 2 and forum natives off for the same reason, the manix 2 is a great knife, just overkill, and I like the forum natives a lot too actually though I didn't at first, but they're just not my preferred go to knives.
 
Speaking purely Spydies I carry and rotate several. I carry one group while in jeans and a lightweight group for shorts, sweats and PJ bottoms. I rotate the PM2 in both categories while my Endura 4 FFG, Centofonte 3 and UKPK's make up the light category and my Military & Resilliance usually only ride in jeans.
 
My favorite model is the Endura. It works the best for me for EDC. Currently carrying a saber ZDP-189.

My Spyderco collection is mainly about different steels, sprint runs in Military, Para2, Manix2, and the Mules.

I treat these models as work knives at home.

I prefer the Military and the Manix2 XL as large comfortable knives for bigger jobs.
 
I have a lot of love for the para 2 just like the rest of you. My other favourite is the UKPK. I also agree about the domino. It feels like a more refined Manix.

Do eet! I'm feel much better now that things are simplified. I've had a manix 2 heavy and XL and while awesome they are overkill. If you haven't tried a lightwieght i ((HIGHLY)) recommend it! I have the BD-1 and it's easily my favorite flavor

BTW when I say simplified I mean it. All I own is the spydercos I mentioned besides a few staple traditionals which includes some SAK's
 
Delica is my "gentleman's knife".

Manix 2 s110v is my woods knife.

PM2 is my every other situation knife.

Dragonfly is in my trout vest.

I also have a Stretch carried IWB near my Glock. I always carry a Stretch and another knife.
 
I know when I really like a knife when I have more than one lol. PM2, Manix XL, Endura 4 and Manbug are all duplicates (different versions/materials though) and see almost all the use. The rest are basically safe queens, as embarrassing as that sounds I'm not going to use $300-$500 sprint runs like my peel ply collection.
