joe stopped by to get a few knives sharpened and a scrapyard was one he left with me. chuck geyer stopped over to pick up a knife to make a sheath for and seen the home made sheath joe had made from plastic and green duct tape for the scrapyard. chuck decided his knife needed a leather sheath instead and donated his time and leather to make him this one. i think this sheath will serve him well and chuck makes some sweet sheahts.

Cool sheath! ! ! !

Awfully nice of Chuck to do that for your buddy. . . . and cool of you to share the story! :thumbup:

Thanks man!

Unless he's crazy (say, stressed out by the economy) he will love that sheath.

I do.:thumbup::)

Thanks for the kudos, y'all.

More to the point, thanks to joebobx for his service :thumbup:

that scrapyard was in bad shape when i first seen it. the spine needed cleaned up and an edge put on it. joe had me strip the finish also. here is the old sheath. i think the one chuck made is a lot better looking and safer.
