Do you know the birthday of your CRKs?

As the titles states....do you know the birthdays of any/all of your CRKs? I only have two CRKs. As I sit here and type this I have no idea when my Large Insingo or my 25 were born. I don't even know the month and in the case of the Insingo might even struggle with the year. Don't take this the wrong way, I think having birthdays is cool and gives people something to hunt for to remember special events. I just found it a little interesting that something like this has completely slipped my mind and wondered if others were like me.

So, do you know your CRKs birthdays?

I'm guessing my blue steam is dated march 5th or may of 2015. I got it around July 9th 2015 for my bday. Let me check and see how close I am.

I have had well over 100 and do not know a single birthday. Some were bought used with no BD card, so I will never know. The rest, other than looking at it when first getting them, I haven't looked at the BD card.

Darn it. I knew this lol. Its my only one. Well at least I know my kids and wife's b days. ;)

I keep a spreadsheet with all my CRK's, so I just add the birthdate to that.

Im in Nyfemakers camp...i glance at the card when i first get a new CRK, but couldnt tell you the date of any of them.
However, i DO appreciate the fact i have it and that CRK includes them.

I do have a birthday CRK, that's the only one I can sound off without having to look at the bday cards. I've got all the paper work for all my CRK's that came with everything.

I have three special birthday CRK's. One matches my son's birthday down to the year; one matches my mother's 70th birthday; and one was born on the day I met my wife.

The rest of them? I could probably guess the year.

Same here. I also take a photo of the CRK birth card and include that with each knive's photo album. After you pass a certain dollar value your homeowners insurance won't cover them unless you add a personal articles policy and to do that correctly each one needs to be documented.

I track them in a spreadsheet  but don't know the dates off the top of my head. I have a couple of older regulars with the milled grooves on the edge so know those are 2004ish. I don't try and get significant dates, but if I ended up with one I suppose I would remember it....

I went 5 years without being able to get one date significant to me, then got 2 back-to-back.

The birthdate, but especially the birthcard, for me it is very important.. I do not know exactly why, but it is very important.
There is, it is written, I can read it when I want, and this is enough for me.. All my CRK have a birthcard, but I can not remember all the dates.. Maybe because none of them has a special date for me, I bought them because I wanted the knife. Until now, I have not found a CRK with a special date for me..

I almost forgot my own birthday this year. I do remember one of my Sebenza's birthday because it is a few days (and years) short of my wife's birthday. I noticed the first time I checked the card but for the life of me I can't remember any of my others.

Without looking at the card I don't know the date on any of mine that I have on hand. Only the year.
I only remember the date on the one I just bought, and haven't received yet. September 30th.
I'll probably forget it soon enough, but then again it may be the one I remember since I've typed it out, lol.

I did not...but I should be able to remember the leap day from now on anyway. And I just happen to have a Sept. 30th as well.
