I just recently know them. Not sure if anyone has bought any from them already. Information they provide seems like they meant businese, also seems, will be made by japanese maker.

I do not know Rick Polland, but he is certainly in the right part of Japan to offer the sources he describes. Gifu Prefecture is the site of Seki City, which is one of the major sword and cutlery centers (Hattori, Al Mar, many swordsmiths, Feather razor blades, etc.) I have been there several times. Looks like the real deal.

If I remember correctly they've been around for a pretty good while with some decent reports. I'd suggest asking over at www.swordforum.com...
