I have the book in my library. It covers stick and knife techniques from the Filpino martial arts. It also has stick and dagger techniques done together. There is a small section on the balisong. It covers some simple opening techniques. The author feels that the real balisong experts open the knife slowly like pealing a banana. They do not do all the fancy openings that you see in the USA. I liked the book because it showed some the the cultural beliefs associated with the balisong. I hope this helps. :cool:

The cover is the thing you keep in mind.

Anyway, you know, in the magazines business, an incomparable importance is given to the cover of the mag (comparing to the content). Statistics seems to show that a bad cover can easily divide by 2 the sales, whatever the quality of the content is.
When you work in edition, you notice that the form is as important as the content. If you don't give the reader the desire to read your text, you fail your mission of author.
