Do you know who carry large blade or ax?

Is there a paeson who realy carry Bowie knife like the movie "Crocodile dandy"?
Or, I imagined more: with Kydex holster, it is not impossible to carry hand Ax on my back!
I think no one do so daily, but if doing so and some accident happen, it is the best tool.

Going for a stroll through midtown Manhattan with an axe strapped to my backpack would lead to a conversation with the local police, I think. I used to carry a big knife going through Van Cortland Park in the Bronx. But that's still in New York City, and I hardly needed it.

There are a lot of useful tools we don't carry all around every day. Chances are, if my multitool and folder can't handle it, I'm not ready to deal with it no matter what I might have. Preparedness is attitude, not equipment.

I have a hatchet that Blade Tech made a sheath for. It works very nice. It has a normal belt loop. It is held by nicely shaped Kydex that allows me to easily quick draw without unsnapping a strap.

You are correct,Esav, that I don't carry in town. But on my property, and in the woods, it is a good tool as Chicahiro says. The time I spend to design and have the quick draw sheath built was, in my opinion, time well spent. It is a pleasant way to carry.

Have you all ever seen the Greco made Manhattaxe (NYC inspired

)designed by Laci Szabo?! It is a small fighter axe that is carried in a kydex shoulder rig. Quite concealable and a formidable weapon.
