Do you know who made this Kukri?

20th century. You should ask this question over in the Himalayan Imports forum. BTW, does it have a sheath?

I'm curious where you found that beauty? It is an amazing blade. I like the pointier style khukris like yours, myself!

Is that an integral bolster?

That is one seriously nice lookin' Kuke!

Did it come with a karda(small utility knife) and chakma(burnishing tool) and scabbard?

Agree with posting this in the HI Forum. John Powell and other khukuri collecting experts will help in IDing this khuk.

Good Luck!

Also be sure to post to the Gurkha House forum here. Plenty of very helpful folks there, too. (Beautiful Kukri!!):D

NTS thanks for posting the picture for me. The knife came without a sheath but it fits into a windlass? officer's sheath. I appreciate all the kind words and helpful suggestions from you guys and I will post this item on the suggested forums.

Post WWII, Indian manufacture.
J.P. could tell us more.

Nice one...I would be happy to own it.

A beauty! I think the nicest looking khukuri I've seen. I do hope that if you find success in your search for the origin, that you'll come back here and post it for others who might like to buy one. Wow!

I have to agree with everyone else. She's a beaut!:D Nice polish, integral bolsters, full tang (or seems to be), nicley rounded pommel and beautiful bone handle.
Truely a treasure. You should be proud of this one.

The people at the HI forum have been very helpful. I have posted an additional link at that location showing more handle detail. The current thinking is that it is an officers model made during or after WWII. It is a "keeper" for sure.
