Hey guys, I was cleaning out a corner of my garage getting read to assemble a short block motor to sell and "found" a box of canvas money bags. There are quite a few here. I don't remember why I had so many but I know I don't need them taking up space or becoming nesting material for mice. So, why not see if any of you guys who make your own Micarta wants it! If there is enough interest ill do a random number selection after Blade Show is over so that way those lucky enough to attend don't miss out (or should I not include them, because they are lucky enough to be there anyways!).

These are natural colored canvas and the small ones have tie strings sewn in. Should be plenty here for a decent amount of Micarta to be made. Sizes are as follows: 7x14, 11x20, 14x28. I may keep a couple of the small ones to make some sandbags for shooting, but don't need any more than two. The rest is up for grabs.

Let me know if these things will even work for micarta and if you're interested.

I think the weave on those bags is sort of tight. I think they would make good looking mycarta so I would like to play.

I'd be in - I can use a couple sandbags for the bench and have some denim I could layer with some of the white - with luck I can get a railroad pinstripe effect.

Cool, glad some people are interested. That pinstripe would be cool, I would like to see it when you get it done!

I used to work for an armored-car service and toted way too many of those bags to be even remotely interested in seeing them again! You'd be surprised just how heavy those bags can get when loaded with quarters. The larger bags were cash-only, but the smaller ones would get filled with coinage and would weigh upwards of 50# depending on the denomination.

Still, cool on you for the giveaway.

Alright guys, i'll pick a winner this coming Saturday by noon, pacific time. I noticed a couple of bags have some mildew stains but it is only the ones that were on the top of the stack, a quick wash should take care of it.

Hope everyone who attended Blade had a great time!

Ok the winner is 1066vik!

Sorry for the tardiness, my 21 month old son picked up a nasty sinus infection, been taking care of him 24/7.

I will box up and ship out this week if the winner gets me his address. Only requirement is pics of the finished product!

Cheers
