Do you own a CIVIVI Baklash, especially the micarta handle version?

So is the Micarta on this hard/smooth? Or soft/grippy?

This Micarta is different than any Micarta I've had before. As you can see from the pics, there is more resin space between the fabric. The resin has some texture but is relatively smooth. The fabric offers more grip. The surface presence of the fabric on flat sections depends on the cut of the Micarta. It is more exposed along the contoured sections of scale. Overall, I'm happy with it and I'm glad to have a different kind of Micarta in the collection.
