How much you paid for some of the Spyies you bought a few years ago that are discontinued now that you still have,
traded, or sold.

I'm not talking about knives that have been discontinued in the last year or two.

For me it's:

Barong...KC closing them out for $89.
ATR SS PE...$100 on ebay in very good condition.
Chinook 3 $126 nib for an online dealer. $90 on BF in very condition about 4 years ago.
Original large ce Manix nib $150, original mini Manix nib $119.
Mili SE $119 on ebay.
Endura 4 SE with Emerson 90-100 nib.
Military s90v $200 nib.
Militry cpm m4 $220 nib.
Military SE $119 nib.

I know there are a couple more that I'll ad later.

What about you....How much did you pay for Spydies that were discontinued at Least 3 years ago.

Para 1 in d2 $99, Spyderco was closing them out.
I don't remember the name of the knife. The knife had a magnet that was supposed to keep the blade locked in place. $49 at close out price at Spyderco.
I sent mine back bc the magnet didn't lock the blade.

Kidding aside, I've made some great buys over the years. But wow, that Barong for $89!? Mannnnnnn.....
 
I gave away two 93 Endura SE's, both with the integral clip. They were extremely beat up but savable. At the time I did not have the tools or the inclination to repair them, and did not like the full SE blades.

The only pic I have of either of them.



I don't believe I paid more than 30 each on those inside an Army shoppette in 94-95. I could be wrong though. I do remember they were on a card and not in a box.

I was a young and dumb Army E3 with no family, no bills and money to drink away. I rarely paid attention to cost back then.

I've got a few aus6 stainless enduras around here somewhere with the old tip. Got em at a mom and pops gun shop way back in there knife case. Lady didn't know they were there.

She was an elderly lady and she didn't know what they were worth. I wasn't real sure myself so I just told her they were old and the price of a new one. Picked them both up for 30 bucks if I remember right.

Wife carries a little fully serrated calypso Jr. That someone just gave her...I've had a few more older ones but I just can't think right now.

Remember I had a Para 1 I couldn't give away lol
 
I wish I bought more than one of the left handed Millie's when KC had them for 99 bucks.
 
I grabbed NIB a Zulu for $89, a Chokwe for $125, a pink Squeak for $15, and nothing else great comes to mind.
 
I guess one of my more recent deals was last year when the Dialex Junior was going for less than $95 shipped from stp.
 
Stainless Native, partially serrated AUS-10 blade. Got it four or five years ago for $35. Also got a used fully serrated Endura 4 for $25. The member who sold it was getting married, so I threw in an extra $5.

Citadel and Embassey automatics are ones I really like and have purchased multiples, different sizes and finishes.








 
I bought a Squash Bone Kopa in October 2009 when Knifecenter had them on sale for $76.95.

I deleted my photos when I sold it but I still have a pic of it with some other knives.
