I just bought a Sony Handycam and when I got home I realized I could have bought another FBMLE and a Game Warden for what I spent!

Does anyone else think about what Busse's they could have gotten if they did not get something else?

For the record I had to get the camcorder, because my first child was just born last week! These videos will be priceless to me!

It's a Boy!
(He is longer than a AK47 blade and weighs about as much as 3 1/2 or four BMs. His fingers are as wide as a SJTac, and he has pinkish/ yellow grips with the family/ factory standard black hair.):D

first of all
CONGRATULATIONS ON THE KID *thumbs up*

I bet your gonna teach him all those crazy survival skills and knife skills that you are just bursting with.

and yes sometimes I look at something... like the pocketpc that I'm smashing away on and think... hmmm this thing just cost me 300 bux.... I coulda bought... and then the list goes on and on and on lol

I don't own a busse but from what i've heard on the forums they're might fine knives.

usually I hate waiting to get a knife..... If cash goes outta my pocket I want that knife in my hand at the same time. lol

again. congrats on the kid. best wishes

cheers^^

Congratulations on your son.

I too see money as busse dollars. When I make my car payments or tuition payments i think "darn and the GW will be comin up this weekend" or " I dont have an AK yet.....you would if you didnt go to school"

Congrats on the boy!

What is his birthday?

I (actually, my wife ) had a son on the 7th (last Thursday). 8 lbs, 0 oz , 20 in long...can you convert that to Busse lengths for me?

Wife is getting no sleep and I'm only getting a lil' bit more then her. How's it at the Feet household?

Jax

Congrats on your son!!!

Busse is addictive! My view... "OK... where can I get more $$$... I want this one, that one, and this... and that" :D :D :D

Already spent a small fortune on Busse this month... and then find out that the SMOGers are coming... and now... THE LEFT OVERGANZAAAA!!!!

hmmm... I could sell a kidney! nah!!! I still want 2 of those! :D

Congrats to you too Jax!
My boy was 7 lbs, 7, oz, 20 in long and was born on 9/05 (last Tuesday). We are not getting to much sleep either but we are too happy to care yet!
Ahhhh... the pitter patter of Little Feet! (my handle is because I love Busse knives and I am a foot doctor)

His college tuition will cost me over 400 FBMs:eek:

Great, now I can't stop thinking that I make something like 1/10th of a FBM LE every week!!!:(

Hog Feet and GlassJax,

Congrats to both of you guys on the births of your sons. . . . .we are expecting our first child sometime within the next week or two and I can't wait! I don't sleep anyway so this should work out just perfectly!!!

As for college tuition. . . .Imagine what 400 Fusion Battle Mistresses will be worth in 18 years?????!!!!! . . . . That ought to be enough to keep them in beer for the full four years!!!! :D

Jerry

That's it. I'm upping my last order by 399 HOG-FBM LEs. Thanks Jerry.

Jerry

I would like to buy 400 consecutively numbered Fusion Battle Mistresses please. Jerry, can I put them on separate credit cards so my wife won't find out all at once? Also, instead of having the charges say "knives" or anything like that, can you have the charges say "Prepaid college fund";) This way I can write some of it off as an Educational Savings Account:D

This is my first Jerry, and I am on cloud nine! I don't sleep that much either, and being a foot doctor, the smell of dirty diapers is nothing to me!
You should make a new Dad's commemorative knife for new 2006 Dad's! You could call it the "2006 Commemorative Piglet"! Have their names, birthdates, lengths and weights inscribed on the blade!:D I'm serious! (I also suggested the Hog/ Rat collaberative kitchen knife called the "Ham and Cheese"!)

I do the same thing. I don't spend much money on much else but my knife collecting. I gave up most of my other hobbies.

Congrats on the new family members. Being a dad is great!

Jerry, I bet if I sunk $1000 in FBMs today and $1000 in a CD in 18 years the FBMs would be worth more, and if they weren't at least you could do more with them than wipe your arse with the CD if the market falls out. :D

I am down with that too!!!!!!!!!!! Put me on the list and I'll let you know when the next one comes along. Should be well before the end of 06. :D

Congrats on the new addition. I'm the same way with money. Most extra goes towards travel and knife collecting these days.

Yep, I've got a like-new Cannondale out in the garage that I keep thinking about how much it's "Busse Value" would be if I got rid of it...... :D

Congrats on the new additions to your families, Guys!!

 Man you think you're broke now, wait until the request for child support start rolling in! :D

I still do it the other way. I see the knives and I think of all that cash sitting there I could be buying bikes with. Then I see the bikes and I want to sell them too. I end up turning over a lot of bikes and knives and to get to a few keepers I really like.

No kids... although they are a blast the rest of what goes with them wasn't for me. I have many friends that have children and I get them on loan often enough that a few of the kids and I have a good friendship. Their mom's say it is because mentally I'm really about 12.

Sign me up for the 2006 Busse Dad's club and the 2006 piglet knife. Our son (and first child) was born in April this year. He just got his first infi at Blade West today and he doesn't even know it yet (yep, the diversified college fund). Congrats to the rest of the 2006 new dads! Jerry, you're gonna love it.
