I was on Chat last night and the subject of engraving came up. Somebody posted a link to this website and all of the engraving was just beautiful. After some time on the site I stumbled across this...
http://www.engravingarts.com/pgGal1_TibetanDream1.html

I had to send a copy of it to Kit, to see if he'd ever seen it before?
His reply, "Phil, That's some of the nicest engraving I've ever seen."

I gotta agree with Kit. ;)

Wow! Now that is gorgeous!
Love that handle too!
Thanks for the eye candy!

I'll second that!

Sad part is that I don't remember that knife. It's an older one. Still, the nicest engraving I have ever seen. What's the old saying about making a silk purse out of a sows ear? :)

Phil, thanks for finding it.

There's a lot of nice engraving, but this one caught my eye in particular:

Actuallly Gabe, it's that Herman Sliver that RL pointed us to, to show Tim, Pozzobon's engraving. I find it intersting that Tim Herman is one of the best engravers around and I've still seen several of his knives engraved by others. I think it has to do with the fact that Tim's knives are the perfect canvas for some extensive engraving. I don't think I can post it here, but last night on Chat Tim broke out the pics of his "Porno Sliver" this knife is unforgetable. ;)

Its really a treat when you find someone who works outside the normal framework of engravers..........Cant help but love both of those pieces.
