Do your knives get paired with EDC groups?

As I continue to grow my knife addiction and change knives that i EDC based upon circumstances of work and play i find other elements of what i EDC start to get paired with these situations.

For work ( I am a suit) I don't carry a big folder, more a medium sized one with a specific flashlight and perhaps specific watch that match.

After work I might now change to jeans and choose a bigger folder, have a Multi tool, flashlight and more casual watch.

Weekends largely outdoors working I might select a pairing of a bigger knife, perhaps more then one knife, a larger more powerful flashlight, sports watch etc.

Heck on Sundays I have actually rationalized knives, I feel God would accept in church,, church knives??

I admit I like watches, but not a big jewelry guy.

Is this normal to have groupings of EDC stuff knives, flashlights, multi tools etc of EDC pairings or item groupings from your stuff?

Sheesh I am getting worried!

Perfectly normal.
I have a work set, a Funeral/Wedding set, an out on the town set, and a set for when at home, working on whatever.

No worries. I have a work week EDC and a weekend EDC. Different knives, flash light, boots, and watch. Always have my multi-tool but the knives, guns, flashlights, watches and boots vary with the activity. It is good to have the ability to choose. It took a lot of time and hard work to get there. Probably in a few years I will sell off all of the seldom used stuff to be able to afford higher quality choices.

I make selections the night before based on what I may do the next day . The problem is I do this every night and may change the combo the next morn. My wife says I need an "intervention".

I do the same as elkpro, though I always carry a Kershaw Blackout for work.

Heck I categorize by event all the time. I even select different knives depending on what high school I am going to on a Friday/Saturday night to watch my girls cheer. Church always gets an upscale slippie, vacation spots get consideration if they may have a policy and Federal buildings the same.
My "normal" work day EDC is a sturdy folder, small slippie, flashlight, zippo and an atomic/solar G-Shock. Makes it fun! The ONLY time I don't carry is airports or a place where I know there is a metal detector.

I have but one set. It consists of a large "tactical" style folder in my right pocket pocket, and a slipjoint in my left front pocket. But I do have 12 different knives that make up that right front pocket.:thumbup:

I know I post this a lot, but the fact that I outfit every one of my right front pocket knives with a fold-over, deepcarry pocket clip that allows the knife to be carried completely in my pocket with only the clip showing, and the clip is also shortened and covered with black stair step tape, is why I have only "one" setup.
