I have recently bought a Surefire 6P flashlight with a sheath which i love and will not put down! Also bought a Leatherman wave that came with the sheath and also have a SAK tinker that i have a sheath for! Man can i tell you...these sure add some weight to your belt along with my Heavy keychain on a caribeaner...I realized today that my pants are being constantly pulled down and everytime i undo my belt the belt slides out of my pants loops until it gets to the sheath's and they all slide off my belt and drop to the floor!!! Anyone else have to many toys on their belt and have trouble keeping their pants up!? :D
 
Yes! If I added one more item to my pants, I'd have to wear both a belt AND suspenders. :D Thank goodness for The Wilderness Instructor belt. Having lost some weight over the last few months, it's good to be able to tighten one's belt on the fly. The only thing on me that weighs more than my fully-loaded pants is my backpack. :D
 
I have some cheap-ass DD belt. It holds up everything well.

I had just gotten my cell phone recently, right before I got it I lost some sleep thinking of how I would carry it. :foot:
 
Get some Carhartt dungaree double knee pants. Since I don't prefer wearing cargo pants, these are the next best thing.

Left knee pocket, which I suppose was intended for a ruler, fits a flashlight perfectly without danger of slipping. I carry my SL Scorpion/ modded AA Mini Maglite there and not once did I drop it, sitting, kneeling or otherwise.

Right tool pocket to carry multi-tool and/or knife. Same as the other pocket, no danger of dropping anything.

No pouches on the belt for me! :thumbup:

Yea, I've never experienced any kind of darkness in the day time :rolleyes:
I just love how the light from the sun is never obstructed by clouds or structures. I also love how it magically bends its way into basements, crawlspaces, under desks, and into tiny areas. Yay!

P.S. - to the original poster: consider getting a better belt.

My inspiration has always been Luke Skywalker. His belt was always loaded with tools and pouches, but he still looked cool. Now if I can only find a working lightsaber... :D

I work as a Nightshift Manager for a large Supermarket, so I carry my Mobile (Sorry, CELLphone!) in a Nite-Ize pouch & My Surefire E2D in another pouch on my RHS & It aready looks like im wearing a ruddy batbelt. Add to that the duty phone from the store, which I carry in my pocket, my kets, the store keys & a stupid box opener/cutter & I seem to spend half the night pulling my pants up.
Just ordered a M9 double mag pouch from Spec-Ops, to see if that looks a little more discreet.
