High time somebody had a knife forging process on Utube....

Thanks for sharing this!

All the best,

Hi Indian George! Glad to see you here:).
After about 30 seconds into the video I remembered that this computer only produces whirring noises. I'm really looking forward to watching this next year, (tomorrow:eek:) with sound.
I have some steel coming my way, which I intend to coax into some form of knife like object. It will be my first, but with all the education available, I expect it will be a keeper. Well, it will be a keeper in any event!:D

If you ever get out this way, you have a open invite.;):D

George, I think that is a fantastic way to memorialize your deceased wife. If I outlive my wife, that is what I am going to do. Thank you very much for sharing this.

If I am still alive I'll do it for you.
But you will have to come down here to help me.;)

Sweet, George... a great way to honor your woman.

....just try and keep your ugly mug off camera next time!;)

That is VERY cool Indian George and great tributes to the departed.

Pleasure watching the video. It would be great to see the finished knives.

Peter

A great tribute to your wife George. Please be sure to post pictures of the knife when you have it completed.

way cool George  thanks for sharing this tribute to your beautiful lady with us all. If my lady goes before me, I intend to do the same. Mike

A fine tribute. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I will post the knife when it is done. The handle will be a whale's tooth with wrought iron fittings, scrimed on one side with a portrayed of Helen and the other side with her name and at the end of the name it will have a rose with the diamond from her engagement ring that I gave and she never took it off till he dieing day.:( She was only 37 when she passed.
Where I live in New Bedford, Ma., it was the whaling capital of the world in the 1800's. If you ever read Moby Dick this is where the whaling ship left from. The wrought iron chain dates back to the late 1800s to early 1900's.
We still have the largest fishing port on the east coast.
Just putting in a little history.;)

put a lump in my throat.
Thank you for sharing that George.
