Dodo back in stock at BHQ

I’ve just noticed that the BladeHQ M4 and jade g10 Dodo is in stock.
I was under the impression that these exclusives would not be made again? It’s super cool to see this knife back in stock but, I feel like I might be missing something.
Did they never sell out?
Did BHQ ask Spyderco to make more?
Are exclusives going to drop in higher numbers?
Whatever’s the case I’m happy.

Yep, it’s out of stock again now? Weird.
I was under the impression more were made because the website stated there was a limit of one per person.

They were available for about two hours today. Suspect there must have been more than a few returns available, given that duration.

Frick BHQ! Their failure online for core availability is a failure to every enthusiast! If Distributors and Spyderco can't control the scalpers how can they possibly be interested an individual collectors!

I blame Spyderco for stimulating scalpers! It's a crime to scalpe major League tickets. But knife scalpers are tolerated!

Yeah Spyderco should totally get Blade HQ's sales info with a freedom of information request and the go out and waterboard anyone who bought a Dodo but doesn't still have it.

Full reveal. That knife that restocked was probably mine. It was lost in the mail and Blade HQ made that right at their expense. When they reversed the charge on my card (And gave me an extra $20) the reversal on my care probably repopulated their inventory. And if more than one was lost they'd have had to fix those too.

Spyderco made as many as Blade HQ requested and they're the ones who took a hit. It's a bummer for me but it's not like they were sending me pacemaker batteries. I'll have to work things out at my end.
