Does a Benchmade 910 have an open back?

Nope. A solid spacer covers about half the space.

You could carry your change in a different pocket than your knife or carry change in a small coin purse

I can't carry change in the same pocket as any of my knives, purely for the fear that I'll scratch one. .

Garage Boy, ain't no clips on MY pockets, sir. I likes the tactical method of dumpin em in the pocket with all the other crap.

Sometimes I pull out a coin to defend myself and that's ok because the crooks think it's all I got an take pity an leave.

I ditch the pocket clips too. I don't have much use for an open back knife.
