My wife ordered me a Spyderco Calypso JR grey from new graham knives.
It showed up yesterday, she suprised me with it on Christmas.

I love it, fit & finish are perfect, I don't remember the clip on the original version, but the new one has a bead blasted clip with the black bug & is very cool.

Merry Christmas to all.

New Graham told me that they should have them this week.

Jeff,

That's great news! If any retailer is selling them, the one that gives out bandage dispensers would be a great choice.

I'm realy drooling, I have one in my hand right now :P hehe. I like the color it's not to light and it's not so dark it looks black just perfect, I also like this pattern in the handles but can't remember what they call it? very nice knife guys.

I stopped by the Spyderco Outlet store in Wheatridge Colorado and picked up mine. The grey is darker than I expected. Anyway it is most fine.

Thank you for the tip. My order is just now placed.
Another tip - the person on the phone said they are swamped, better get them soon!

Just a question on the clip. Sal's original post said that the clip was sandblasted with a black bug but New Graham's site says the clip is black. Are there 2 different clips out there?

Sal, Mike told me about this post and that I had put Black Clip on the website, I said "well someones wrong because it has a black clip I know it does", as I was opening a box to check..........Well anyway we all know who was wrong :( "As if if it wasn't going to be me"

I believe that it's described as a 3D fish scaled pattern, if it's the same pattern as in the original Calypso Jrs., which offers a superb, non-slip grip.

I hope that you guys still have some in stock tomorrow, I'll be placing my order in first thing in the morning. :D

KBR...we have 'em (unless Santa defeated the alarm system...that rascal played havoc on stock this year...)
A big HO HO HO to all!
Regards, Mike
