Play with their bali while laying in bed?
I don't sleep with my bali, but i always have all of my bali's on my side table right next to my bed.So when i'm watching TV late at night sometimes I get fidgety and I always go for one of my bali's.
The only thing is you don't have as much control as when your standing up,and if you lose control you take the chance of getting stabbed anywhere on your torso, chest or legs.I haven't been stabbed yet, knock on wood, but it's always running through my mind when i'm manipulating in bed.
So who else here likes to live dangerously?

oh, me me me! i flip in bed all the time. at college, i dropped once and made a nice slit in my sheet, foam mattress pad, and the actual mattress. i sewed the sheet, heated the foam up to glue it back together, and flipped the mattress over. :D lucky i didn't slit my stomach in the same manner...
wee.

Your not the only one. A little suggestion though, when you do drop the bali, LET IT GO!!! Trying to reach for it may only result in pushing the blade in even further. So please just let the weight of the knife be all that hits your leg, and be sure you have a nice thick comforter on your bed. :)

I flip my balis in bed, but sitting down while watching tv.
Good thing for my balis, they will not break whatsoever when I drop them accidentaly. Poor for my sheets !!

I do flip when sitting at my computer. I'm not too worried about my legs or feet because my bali's dull enough that it won't cut through my boots, my wood floor's phuqued up enough that another scratch won't make a difference, and the bali's cheap enough that I don't care too much if it breaks. What I do worry about is my cat, who will silently enter the room and sit right next to my computer chair. I don't know what I'd do if I skewered (sp?) my cat :(
