the new line of knives is going to have thickness options in addition to the finish and handle options? and if they do, will there be different prices for thicker blades? (hopefully they'll be cheaper :D :D )

I didnt even think of that. Thickness options would be awesome! That might be one of the changes that rotate every 8 months though.

IE- 1/4" stock for all models ran in the first 8 months, thinner 3/16" stock for the second 8 month run, and the nice thick 5/16" for the 3rd 8 month stretch.

or.. Im so far off its not even funny!

Blade thickness would be a cool option but I think
Jerry said they are all going to be 3/16 to start with.

wow, i hope you're just messing with me bravado. i'm not too picky about having a thicker blade, but i'd like to see my new FSH :D:D with a good 1/4 inch of infi to beat the crap out of :D i was just thinking it would be neat to get something with 5/16 to have some real fun with. ah well, i'm sure whatever he does with the new line, i still won't be able to resist getting at least one of them.

If that's true, DN probably just lost his mind;)

Guys,

It is my understanding that at least the larger blades are going to be ground from 1/4" stock. Likely to be a final thickness of .22".

Additionally, there should be a bit more standardization where thickness is concerned than in the past... in an attempt not to make the sheath makers crazy. Er... well... crazy-er. :p
