Does anybody still work with Vascowear?

I happenned to have a piece of Vascowear (approx 1.8m long, 5cm wide, 5mm thick).
I was wondering if anybody still works with it. I'd like to have a few knife blades made of it (ground and heat treated).

Any advice is appreciated.
