Is there anyone that carries a Dfly or DF2 everyday. I've been carrying 1 for 4-5 years. I also carry a big folder too.

I carry a se Dfly, it's so much more useful than a pe IMO. Here's not much that little pocket chain saw can't cut!

I normally carry a pm2 in my rfp, and a zdp189 dfly in my lfp. But i recently got a h1 pacific that kickrd out the dragonfly. And this morning i missed the size of the dfly and now want to get one with a se. Dont know if they make one in h1 but will now look for one.

They do, in both plain and serrated.

For business casual with my khakis that have the internal change pocket, I carry a stainless steel Dfly clipped to the internal pocket. It can ruin my look professionally to have shiny knife clips sticking out. I carry an Endura in the car (outside sales) on these days. If I wear slacks that don't have the change pocket I carry a Caly 3.5 with a black Sage wire clip RFP and a SE LBHB

I don't have one yet but it's def on the short list. What do people prefer - frn or g10? I'm leaning towards the g10 because a bit of heft would be nice w a smaller.knife. I'd like to pair it w a waved Endura.

I carry a SE DF2, when not at work(I have a similar, custom sheath, for my SOG powerlock).. I had a sheath made for it. Perfect neck knife or belt.. All my rfp knifes are PE. It's nice to have a SE, at hand, at all times..

I'm usually carrying a PM2 but LOVE carrying a DF2 as a secondary blade (usually when wearing jeans) when I can make the space for it. I really like the HAP40 df but after trimming a decent sized shrub branch with my H1 se df, I was surprised how easy it made work of it. Since then, I try not to be too far from an H1 se df.

I took a break but have been EDCing it the last month or so again. Along with a four inch blade in a belt pouch. So yes it is probably my most carried knife.

FRN
I don't mind it being astoundingly light. That lock up when opened and that snap when it is closed reassures anyone using it that it is a seriously well designed tool and not a cheep plastic toy.

ZDP-189
Killer steel but I had to stop cutting wire ties with it. I put some tinny chips in the edge. For everything else it is Monster !

The G10 is noticeably heavier than the FRN version but it's still relatively light. You can't go wrong with either IMO.

I recently got an FRN VG-10 dfly. Really enjoying it. I can't carry it all the time, so its not a general EDC, but anytime I have a reason to, I carry it.

I usually edc a DF2 ZDP189. One year of use and no need to sharpen. A real pocket laser.
Now I carry my SE Salt 1 mostly, but I guess it's the "new" factor. May go back to the DF soon... awesome little knife.

This brings up my airport nightmare

So there I was standing in security check line going through my mental list of stuff I needed and had

Then just as I was about to step up to TSA agent I did a routine pocket check

Wallet check
Keys check
Phone check
Knife check

Wait what... )@)"?'&$:-@)"!.?

Mr TSA I present you with a ZDP-189 dragonfly in racing green please find her a new home

And that's how I lost my EDC bad ass dragonfly

As many here, I discovered the pocket chainsaw capabilities of the H1 DF and fell in love.

I love my Dragonfly 2 and wear it every shift at work. Small enough to be clipped onto my back pocket where I keep my wallet. The pocket clip is secure enough that it doesn't move at all which wasn't something I could say when I carried my Delica 4 in the same manner.

Carry a g10 df2 to work everyday. Removed the pocket clip so it just sits in my pocket.
