Does anyone do custom anso patterned G10 scales for the BK10?

oh and who has a stripped bk7 they want to part with? peace

It's a literary expression when a hackneyed pattern of dialog is used, typically when the antagonist confronts the protagonist.

It bears the name from the dialog that spawned it - "An so we meet again Mr Bond!"
 
Yeah....not sure what that anso pattern means but if you search this forum you can find a pretty recent thread that tells of a place that sells G10 scales. They are unauthorized so a mod may have deleted it, but there's a good one out there......just cant mention the name.

Not sure what the anso is, I think it's the one with the cuts and stuff in the scales? Kinda like that rocky mountain stuff from TOPS? I may be able to make some but they won't be cheap.

And I have new BK7's in stock and I do offer stripping as well as parkerizing services if you are interested in going that route.

Actually they are authorized here. It's the knife connection (TKC) 6th up from the bottom on the list here.
 
Why don't you buy a dremmel and try to anso pattern yourself. As far as the bk7. Why not just buy one? Are you looking for a cheeper already worked on one? Or are you hoping for a hand out? Sincerely wondering because you were not very clear in your post.

These were done by a fellow on here who goes by The Preacher. I know he also works in G10, but all I've ever seen his stuff on is folders.
It shouldn't hurt to ask.
Or run it by Dex - I don't have anything from him yet, but he has some very impressive mod threads on here. I trust he would do awesome.

I'm not sure if you have ever spent time on the Jungletraining/Esee forum but there is a guy that does all kinds of custom scales for pretty cheap and of good quality. I believe his user name is esee3&6.

It seemed a reasonable question that everyone else seemed to be thinking 1) you don't want to risk doing stripping yourself 2) wanting a cheap/free stripped knife (perhaps rusted) someone no longer wants. Pretty valid response to me without calling someone an Idiot. Not how this forum works if you read posts here. Its all about helping and being helped - Becker family

I responded in a completely reasonable and understandable manner. All without being condescending and jumping to conclusions like you. Not to mention that I don't care if you personally hand feed every vet. in the world. It doesn't justify your lack of clarity, bad attitude, sense of entitlement and assumptions. I do appreciate your candor, as idiotic as it was. That's o.k. because I am sure it is you, who looks & or feels like a damn fool now. Because you couldn't simply write back. I maybe way off here but the way I read Sids post was that he was looking to buy a stripped 7 to mod and would like some scale work done as well.
That's the crappy part about reading posts, they can be interpreted different by different people.
Personally I've had a few conversations with Sid and I think he is a good dude. This thing just went a little sideways.
P.S. Sid if you still have that Skystorm sheath for sale I'll take it man.
