Does anyone else EDC a 110 AND a 301?

Just wondering if I am strange for having them both on me every day ... sometimes with a 389 in the picket with the 301 ...

I have both a 110 and a 371 (imported 301) in my carry rotation. I don't carry both at the same time, but sometimes carry them both at different times throughout the same day. When I walk the dog through the woods or go hiking, the 110 is always on my hip. Pretty much anything I do in the outdoors, I'll have the 110 100% of the time. Pretty much any other tasks I probably have the 371 or a case sodbuster in my pocket. The 3 different blades on the stockman are great for edc tasks.

I used to EDC a 110 and a 301. I traded the 301 for a 55. Now I EDC a 110 and a half.

110 everyday. Leatherman skeletool as well.

When I hunt I carry a Buck 110 (or similar) on my belt, a Buck 301 (or similar) in my pocket, and a Buck 118 in my pack. For EDC purposes when not in the woods I carry one pocketknife. OH

I went back to carrying my 110 a few months ago. I carried one for years but when Illinois finally got ccw I started carrying and wasn't sure what to do with the 110 so I dropped it from my belt for awhile. But its back on the belt just on the left side now. As far as also carrying a 301. Yes and no. My old 301 usually only sees carry when I'm feeling sentimental for some reason. I inherited back round 84 or 85. For many years it was my only pocket knife, Around 92 I was gifted a 703 for my birthday from may parents that kind of over shadowed the 301.

Now a days I always have a pocket knife in my pocket even when carrying a 110. To me pulling out a smaller pocket knife around sheeple just works better. Sometimes that pocket knife is a Buck, sometimes its a Case, other times its a German pocket knife.

I'll just admit I've always been one of those weird knife freaks.:D If I could away with it I'd carry a fixed blade everyday.;)

I have a 110 on me right now. I switch between that, a 112 and a Case trapper depending on what I'm doing. I always carry a smaller one handed opener too. I switch those up as well....

Kyhunt where do you live? Today was a day off, but I strapped on a 119 to go to the store just because :D

VT has no legal limit on knife length. In fact, the only restriction is no automatic knives *over* 3" haha

When I'm hunting, I'll have a Buck knife (fixed or folding) on the belt, and a 307 in the pocket. In town, just one in the pocket.

A 110 and a 301 (or other) makes perfect sense if that's what you need to have with you routinely. Don't feel weird about it.

(My own pairing is an Army Engineer's knife + a Vic Classic, but the principle is exactly the same.)

It's a good combo you have going there. A 110 is in my regular rotation now I have picked up a new one and retired my old 1970 version. It's what I often carry when not wanting a fixed blade.

I live in west central Illinois. A small town of about 6800 an hour west of Springfield IL. I honestly probably could get by with it (legally)if I really wanted to . I know I could on the days I'm at the church office since I'm the only one there.:D

Now further up north near Chicago a lot of the towns have length limits. For the areas that do not have length limits the law is written odd. I can carry most single edge knives as long as my "intention" are not to use it as a "dangerous weapon".

I always have my 110 on my belt. Always. My pocket carry varies, but is usually a GEC Boys knife, a Bull Buster, a Bullnose, a Canoe, or a Barlow. I like my old school pocket knives.

90% of the time, that's what I carry. 110 on the belt and 301 in the front pocket.

The other 10% it's a variation of that theme. The 500 and a 307 or the 317 and some form of 300 series.
