Does anyone else have a bakery outlet store nearby?

I swear for like 20 bucks you can take a whole trunkload of baked goods home! It's great. We have a Nickels AND a Hostess outlet store nearby, and we got some good stuff! This is the first time I've ever actually visited both on the same day, and it's been a while since I went last. (the hostess store was closed by the time we arrived though.) I don't know what I was waiting for! Fresh bread, whole grain bread, hostess pies, moon pies, muffins, poptart knockoffs.... UM YUMMY!

Wonder, Tastee, Aunt Millies, Awreys, and we used to have a Koeplingers. I can't stand that mushy bread they all sell but Awreys has danish, oatmeal date bars, croisants.

No bakery outlet or day old store nearby but if I head to Panera's at closing time they throw bagels, scones, rolls, croisants, bread, and other left-over sweet tasty morsels at me to make me go away.

(I've paid a minimal fee once or twice and it usually keeps me away for a week or so.........) :D

In my neck of the woods we have an Arnold's Bakery Thrift Shop and the Thomas' English Muffin distribution center which also has a store in the back.

Woo-Hoo!!! Thomas back door store muffins!!! The butter in my fridge quivers in anticipation!

Thanks for the reminder, Ken. I'm off to stock up on all the flavors of Thomas that Costco has to offer and then wait for my Egg and Muffin Toaster from Amazon. :D

The Williams bread factory has a thrift outlet downtown, and man it smells nice. Some of the bakery goods are past expiration--besides that, you can't beat loaves of bread and hostess at under $.50 :D Perfect place to go on a budget.
