You order one blade & then realize that it is too pretty to simply wail on, so you turn around and purchase another for the purpose of beating it up?

I just did it again tonight. :o
Snagged the blue/black FSH from the ganzaaa & then turned around and purchased another FSH off of "that site" so I have one I can beat on and not feel bad. :p

Sigh... It is a sickness I tell you. On the plus side, the treatment is fun and the kool-aid is tasty! :D

Woohoo!

Way too many times! What the heck is up with that??? Your right....it's a freaking ass sickness!

I figure if it doesn't feel right, I should be able to recover my costs!

I pulled the trigger as fast as possible since I was strongly suspicious there were other hogs wandering in that direction.

Unfortunately yes, right until I actually use it, then I don't feel so bad. For me it's getting over the hump initially to start hacking up the backyard with a piece of INFI perfection.

Same problem here. It's gotten to the point that I don't even think about getting another knife (a new one, at least) without trying to figure out how to get two. :o

i was looking at that today as well, not that i can afford it. that was a great price for that knife, and i'm going to toss out that i'm of the opinion that you may have scored a heavy heart.

the reason i say that is because other than thickness, i've always been under the impression that the way to separate heavy hearts was by the fact that the logo was placed below the grind line. i know there has been some past discussion on this, and some people have commented that what they bought as a heavy heart was not always a full 0.27" thick, but the one common factor was the placement of the logo. thoughts?

I'll have the mic out once it arrives. If your theory checks out then a good deal became a great deal!

This is why my general rule is "if wouldn't use it ... don't buy it"

But there are exceptions hundreds of them :o
.

Heavy Hearts are saber ground while the FSH is, so I've heard, full convex. (Got an HH but haven't picked up an FSH yet. Sat out the Cupidganzaa.) Pete

Why would you buy one just to look at? I solve this problem by taking some nice pictures while it's pristine. I then proceed to whack the holy hell out of the knife. If I want to revisit the "new" knife, I just open a folder on my computer.

Excellent choice! With the often asked question "deserted island blade" or "the last one to go," my choice is, invariably, my Heavy Heart with Mags. Congrats!

I do the same...way too often...sometimes I even save the second one and buy a third. It's madness...but I love it! Nice score on your other FSH.

Which ganza had the blue/black FSH?

"Does anyone else have this problem?" I have so many it's hard to keep up  :o Prolly  Problems, that is!
