So I've been on a kick lately, and today I make a light weight ripstop nylon tarp. Other things I've made are a fleece sleeping bag, and a Alice pack frame.

What have you guys made?

Here are pix of my sleeping bag and my frame.
Those are SS and I got 'em for $1.50 each at a local store.

My frame. Made with only a pic from Google so I could have an idea what I was going to make.

I made this wood stove and heat exchanger out of stainless to keep me warm.

I made these snow pegs for my shelters.

Without them I have to do this sometimes and that sucks.

My homemade Pepsi can stove/wind screen. Kinda common place but I like it.

I made some hobo stoves as well and other stuff .

Thats a pretty neat idea, I am gonna have to try that.

I took a video from a campout in early February with a buddy.

CLICK ON PHOTO TO VIEW THE VIDEO. THIS IS BEST DONE IN A SEPAREAT WINDOW.

Testing the heat exchanger outside my tent. It re burns hot gasses and unless it’s -10F or lower will run me out of my tent so it had to be dampened down.

What did you use to glue the fire steel into the shell? JB weld etc? I like it! :)

not homemade :) purchased from fourdogstoves, not on his website, but pretty sure he still sells them (also for a variety of other pots)

yup. When i was a kid, you either made it yourself or went without. many things i could buy, i would not be satisfied with unless i made it.

i make my own :
knives, sheaths, holsters, ammo, anything needing welding, ect. making it myself is usually my first option, as i am cash poor right now. I am finishing a gas forge that will cost me around $300, but that would cost me at least $1200, IF you could find it commercially made.

I CNC cut these pot holders from 6061 Aluminum. I was a sponsor a 20 kid hiking trip with my Church's Youth Group last year and we needed a method to support stock pots:
